Celebrate your heritage in a truly Capetonian fashion by congregating at the steps of the Parow Civic Centre for wrestling like you’ve never witnessed before. All the colours and creeds of our great fighting nation collide in battle to bring you professional grappling, technical and air-skills on par with the best of the world’s fighters. Come on down and see Rasta, Missing Link, Vinnie Vegas, Johnny Palazzio, the Blankman and Shaun Koen to name but a few, as they prepare to outdo each other in the squared circle. That’s on the eve of Heritage Day – and remembers, the AWA has been celebrating this holiday in our own age old tradition of busting heads and pinning bodies of every nationality, from every suburb – just like we have everyday since 1994.

The AWA (Africa Wrestling Alliance) has officially opened its doors to you! We are welcoming all those that have aspired to physical greatness. Whether your darkest deepest desires have been to be moulded as a high-flying, hip-tossing wrestler, or something more conventional such as a top-performing rugby player, gymnast or bodybuilder, the AWA School delivers the knowledge gained from its 23 years of experience. Bookkeepers, librarians, meat packers or train drivers, we don’t discriminate. If you’re just a regular guy or girl, don’t hesitate to contact us so that together we can make your dreams come true at the AWA Wrestling’s TRAINING school.
