The AWA (Africa Wrestling Alliance) has officially opened its doors to you! We are welcoming all those that have aspired to physical greatness. Whether your darkest deepest desires have been to be moulded as a high-flying, hip-tossing wrestler, or something more conventional such as a top-performing rugby player, gymnast or bodybuilder, the AWA School delivers the knowledge gained from its 23 years of experience. Bookkeepers, librarians, meat packers or train drivers, we don’t discriminate. If you’re just a regular guy or girl, don’t hesitate to contact us so that together we can make your dreams come true at the AWA Wrestling’s TRAINING school.

Reach for a Dream
I was fortunate enough, on the 6th of February, to be part of the Reach For a Dream wrestling day out in Simon’s Town. The kids immediately took to the wrestlers and after a brief meet ‘n’ greet, they warmed up with the wrestlers, before heading into the ring for a training session in which the basics of the ring sport were shared. After a beauty competition in which the boys cheered for the pretty ladies, the boys showed off their new skills to the girls. It was all followed by a wrestling card where the kids got very loud and lively for the action. Even though they were cheering for their faves in the ring, it was clear that THEY, themselves were the REAL stars of the day.
• Vinnie Vegas defeated Ed-Lectric via pinfall.
• Cowboy Bobby Rose pinned Sammy Swiegers after a massive Round em Up (F-5).
• GorJus scored a huge pinfall upset over Johnny Pallazio (non-title AFFAIR)
• Revyv retained his LW title after pinning The Garries Farmboy.
• Ed-Lectric won a hotly contested Battle Royal, eliminating Bobby Rose at the end…
